Join us for a novena to our patron saint ~

The St. Anthony of Padua Institute invites you

Dear Friends of the Institute,

While the Institute has been successful in achieving every one of our important milestones in our plan towards starting an authentically Catholic liberal arts college in the Bay Area, we are ever mindful of the challenges facing our grass-roots endeavor. We are grateful for your prayers and material support and would not have been able to put on the various lecture series, nor the Elements of Philosophy and Theology in the Catholic Tradition, nor the Humanae Vitae Conference without them.

However, a venture such as ours is nothing if it does not recognize the source of all Good, which is God, and it is lost if it fails to combine the support of the Church Militant with the power of the Church Triumphant. We, therefore, ask for your prayers and support in the upcoming Novena for the Feast of our principle patron, St. Anthony of Padua, June 4 – June 13. In his life St. Anthony was granted the power of miracles to spread the Truth. We are asking him now to intercede for us and for the people of the Bay Area and the world that we may successfully establish a Catholic college worthy of the name, that we practice the union of Faith and Reason that is the foundation of the New Evangelization, that we humbly make the best use of the resources granted us to promote Truth.

We ask, first and foremost, for your help in petitioning St. Anthony by praying daily during the Novena for us as well as for your own intentions. Please fill out the online form below with your name and intention, which will be placed on the altar each day that our chaplain, Friar Francisco Nahoe, OFM Conv., celebrates the masses of the Novena.

We are eternally grateful for your spiritual and material support in this important venture.

Sincerely,
Institute Faculty and Board Members
